About MTV's The Real World
For its 22nd season, The Real World takes a leap south of the border — Cancun, Mexico! Known for its luxurious hotels, white-sandy beaches, beautiful people, and wild clubs, it is definitely any young twenty-something's fantasy and it's coming to your TV Wednesday, June 24th at 10PM ET/PT on MTV.
For this season, eight strangers were chosen to join The Real World family, but not only The Real World family... they are now also a part of our GradCity on-site staff family. That's right, their task for this season was to work hand-in-hand with us, evolving as team players, representing and presenting “The Ultimate Travel Experience.” In addition to becoming part of our team, The Real World Cancun cast members also ran through some extreme situations and dodging of some unexpected bullets. History of MTV's The Real World
The Real World, one of the most well known MTV reality programs on the teli was first broadcast in 1992 and is still running strong; one of the longest running programs on MTV. Imagine, putting seven or eight young strangers together in a house of their own, in an unfamiliar location, directed to finish a task or job that is presented to them in the beginning of the season, both professionally and successfully? Well as you can envision it, many complications between roommates occur, and obstacles come into play. This scenario is evident in causing drama within the house and within their professional realm, causing friendships to fail, hearts to break, opinions and beliefs to clash, and tempers to flair.

The ME Cancun
The Real World Cancun has it made this season. Well actually, every season they usually have some ridiculous pad where they can lay their little heads down to sleep at night, but this time they've got the ridiculous pad, a ridiculous view, and the most blazing hotspots in Mexico right outside their doorstep.
The Real World Cancun season twenty-two has been livin' it up at the ME Hotel & Resort. Decked out as their most luxurious suit, “Suite ME” was set up and designed for the eight Real World roommates as the largest and most exclusive suite in Mexico. Located in the heart of all the night clubs, bars, shopping, and everything in between; it's the paradise of all paradises. It sits on the most beautiful stretch of white sand in the Western Hemisphere, and with its focus on art, design, music, and cuisine; they just couldn't get enough, and neither will you.
