The Ultimate Scholarship
The Ultimate Scholarship is an annual program offered by GradCity to help students seize opportunities and realize their dreams. A portion of the proceeds from each and every trip that GradCity operates is contributed to the scholarship fund. This makes it possible for us to award multiple scholarships to deserving students every year.
Am I eligible?
All high school seniors are eligible to win the Ultimate Scholarship. We are looking for well-rounded students, so you don't need to be the class president or have the highest GPA to be considered. Winners will be selected based on a variety of factors including essays that describe their:
- Dreams and ambitions
- Community involvement
- Academic achievement & determination
- Extracurricular activities
- Capacity for self-sufficiency
How do I apply?
- Complete the online scholarship application
- Submit an essay describing why you deserve the Ultimate Scholarship.
- Provide two (2) letters of recommendation: One letter must be from a teacher or faculty member. The second can be from a teacher, faculty member, employer, co-worker, community member or friend.
Note: Applications must be received by April 15th
- How and when are winners selected?
- The GradCity Ultimate Scholarship panel will select winners from completed applications that are received by April 15th. Scholarships will be awarded on or around May 5th to as many applicants as the panel deems worthy. Award amounts are yet to be determined, but have been valued between $500 and $2,000 historically.
